We expect the same amount of legroom in terms of space. Although the cargo area may be slightly larger, we don’t expect any significant changes.

The 2023 Volvo XC90’s biggest change will be the removal of pure internal combustion engines. You may instead be able to count on hybrid or all-electric versions. The base models will be available in a plug-in hybrid configuration. While we don’t yet know all the details, it is likely to evolve the existing setup which is powered by a turbo-supercharged gasoline engine with a combined output of 400 horsepower.
